The Bluebonnets are starting here in the Texas Hill Country.

Mid 60's this afternoon & beautiful out. Spending time outside was such a treat. A good day to shoot, but the weather was on my mind more than shooting. Just enjoyed the afternoon..

Yup and the bears are awake and roaming around. Neighbors had a visit last week. So back to taking the feeders in every night. They got on the top deck a couple nights ago. No feeders for them to destroy. The moved the furniture around and drank all the water out of the bird bath......and there were paw prints on the hood of my car a couple days ago. Front paws only. Probably walking between my Jeep and car, stood up on hinds legs to check something out and rested paws on hood. They are surprisingly tall when they stand up.

Odd Spring. Robins are hopping around....but Juncos are still here. Seen a couple turkeys but no gobbling yet. Couple dead grond grizz on the sides of road but nothing in fields and no fresh dirt around holes......80 degrees one day and snowing the next.

squirrel hunting is in the fall here, but I am going deep sea fishing for haddock Saturday with my daughter, brother and a friend. out of Hampton NH
