Help w simple repair

At the range today the red plastic indicator came off mi slide and I need some advice on what to use to reattach it?

What model? What part? With so much information I'll say duct tape.

SR9 the safety off reflector its red I used epoxy I hope it lasts

First I'm going to preach a bit. I feel you should know your pistol well enough that you don't need a color piece to know if it is safe or not.

Second, My thought would be red finger nail polish to remark where the original fell off. With that said I'm not sure specifically what you are referring to so paint might not be the answer.

Where the paint came off …. I'd dab some red neon model car paint on it. Should work fine. Hang in there.

I know we are all different but some of us refuse to buy and use pistols that have that little flippy thing on the side you have to push up or down to show the red dot to make the gun fire.

Welcome smevets! Most of the folks here aren't nearly as contrary as me.....
