Help! Single 6, 10, old or new?

Just picked up a NMSuperblackhawk and remembered how much fun a single action is. Want a 22 to partner up with it. Do I look for an older one or are the nib's just as good? Will probably go blued, will plink with it and use it for snakes and such. Have seen some older "colt" 22 revolvers around lately, just as good or inferior. Thanks for yall's input!

I would go with a Single Six convertible. Stainless or blued your choice but I would go stainless. Nice having the option of shooting 22LR or 22mag. Since it is going to be a shooter just buy a new model. Everything will be familiar to you between the two guns.

I have the Single Six convertible and the Single Ten. It would be very hard for me to pick one over the other I don't shoot the 22mag very much but it is nice to have that option. The Single Ten is nice for plinking I like the 4 extra rounds. Buy both when you can afford it.

I bought the Single Ten because I have absolutely no need to shoot 22 mags..
I have a blue with a 4 5/8 barrel.... I changed the glow sights to steel sights and found the gun more accurate for me...
Buy the MKII front sight instead of the Single Six front sight... it has less glare ...

This would be my pick too. I'm not a fan of the single 10. I find it ugly. And I don't see the point of a 10 shot SA. A SA is not meant to shoot fast or in high volumne (not that you can't do that). But it's a different frame of mind IMHO.
