yes, you would have to try and find the tasco rings that went with that mount, (good luck!!) OR as many 'smiths do, modify the base, to the hole pattern that is on the barrel, ( two holes) and use whatever round bottom (curved) plate to "match" these holes and the plate can be longer, to allow the use of any weaver style rings...using an "off set" base, you can extend the base rearward, back over the top strap,,,no need to drill & tap another hole in the top strap and run the value of the gun, long enough and you can extent it rearward ,back to the existing hole ( elevation) for the rear sight,,,,,,,,left ONLY to ones talent, and imagination........I have not measured the diameter of the barrel of the Hawkeye,but maybe one can even use a no drill and tap clamp on, the barrel, screw into the rear sight hole, like the normal Blackhawk mounts??? put a piece of electricians tape on the barrel, under the clamp to avoid scratching (marring) the barrel with the clamping portion of the base(mount)....................
heres' one we found in our "stuff" not sure if they are even in business any longer, it is a clamp on version, uses the rear sight hole like many of them do

another one of so many mounts and bases that have been out there over the years, some make it some don't, I know I would NEVER "invest" in ANY company that was going to make ANY parts/assessories for ANY gun that is no longer made..............thats where the custom gunsmithing comes in :wink:
