Up until recently I had never heard of this company, which apparently sells pretty much everything, just like Amazon. But as a Chinese owned company with a low rating from the Better Business Bureau I do not intend ever giving this company my money. I only started this thread because when I see their ads, so many are pretty intrigueing, almost what one might call "soft porn". Very revealing lingerie and undergarments on very attractive models. But a warning here: if you click on any of their ads you will later be innundated with ads on every type of social media apps that you might frequent.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
A younger guy at work bought some boots from Temu. They didn't seem to be holding up very well.
Does anything ever? How quickly we forget about what China has sold in the past...Lead in toothpaste, tires that fall apart, etc. It used to be that way with Made in Japan, but their quality has improved. Which reminds, me I have to look up to see which companies/products are of USA.

I’ve bought from them. It takes a long time for delivery and no real return policy. I bought a couple of shirts from them and evidently they are sized for the Chinese as they were all 3 sizes too small.
A couple if things were ok, a 1/2-28 barrel adapter, SS zip ties And novelty items. It’s a vast catalog, shop with care as much of it is junk.
Yes I know I shouldn’t be sending China money but neither should our government. It’s hard to buy anything not made in the republic.
YMMV

Just bought a Xmas styled stocking cap & a pair of gloves. Price was right and free shipping. Decent alternative to eBay & Amazon.

I ordered an ignition switch for my ford jubilee. I got an email confirmation and tracking number and the promise of a $5 credit if it did not arrive on time ,
The tracking number was not good but the part got here just when they said it would so I did not get the credit:)
No pop ups since.

"almost what one might call "soft porn". Very revealing lingerie"--- I get mostly tools and novelty adds from them. Think we get adds based on what we look for or at. I get popups from Midway for stuff I have looked at on there page. All gun stuff.

The laws about being able to put "Made In USA" on a product are convoluted enough that it can be difficult to know what is actually made where. Many things that say they are made in USA are really only assembled here from parts & pieces made elsewhere. I once saw someone post that the Chinese companies will make things to whatever specification they are given by their customer. They are capable of making good products. It just depends on what specifications they are given to meet. Sadly I don't think it is possible now to live without using things made there. Our so called leaders in business & politics sold us out long ago.

yes, I have bought from them. Really spiffy flashlights, don’t drop them. They quit working!!! Return policy pretty good, but only get money towards another TEMU purchase. Quality is iffy. Looks great performs great——for awhile. I closed my account.
gramps

Saw a hat on there that I liked, and it was cheap. But is sold with a hole on the top for those who have a ponytail. Not me. Read the reviews, saw they were from China and then saw the BBB complaints. Not, not me. Ever.

BUY AMERICAN!🇺🇸

When I see stuff like that, I clear my cookies and browsing history. Everything clears up. It also logs me out of everything.

I’m no expert, just trying to help. Sounds like you have it figured out.

My wife buys clothes and gets good deals. If the item is not delivered on time they immediately issue a refund.

Many of the exact items are for sale on Amazon too usually at a higher price. Wife likes shopping Amazon and Temu. So far she is happy with Temu.

Interesting- I see a lot of Temu ads but they are always for really interesting technology and mechanical items. Tools, adapters and the like. However- I’ll probably never order from them.

I've ordered from them. ten thousand drill bits for a nickel is too hard to pass up. and free shipping.

Hahahaaha. Been there done that. Heavy Duty designed for steel, but they bend when drilling thru soft wood.
the little ones bend like wet spaghetti but the larger ones do as well as the harbor freight China imports do for way less money. All in all it's cheap Chinese junk just as good as the cheap Chinese junk we pay more for in stores.

Much as I dislike buying items made in China, as someone mentioned most of the stuff for sale anywhere is made there
I have 2 pairs of shoes, 3 knit shirts, 2 pair of shorts and some other great stuff....no problems SO FAR and I just delete most of the adds

Wifey is an elementary school teacher. She buys trinkets and junk from them all the time.
As long as she doesn't think I will enjoy any of it, we are fine.

I hate pop-up ads and try to ignore them or go to “reader view” on my screen when they appear. I don’t open them and try not to buy anything from a company that uses pop-ups.
