Has anyone watched "Young Sheldon"?

I watched a couple episodes and was taken aback by young Sheldons mother on the show. She bore an uncanny resemblance to Laurie Metcalf who was Sheldons mother on the Big Bang Theory. Her looks, her voice, even the dimples on her face were there. So, I started thinking, where did they find this woman?

After some digging around on the internet I discovered that she was Zoe Perry, and is Laurie Metcalf's daughter. She bares a remarkable resemblance to her mother.

It's kind of funny that on the Young Sheldon show, she plays her own mother. You might remember that Laurie Metcalf also played Roseanne's sister Jackie.

Never realized that. Like the show. Missy makes it for me. Her subtle sarcasm reminds me so much of one of my daughters.

I agree Missy is the real star in my mind. I liked season 1 but it has become less interesting to me as it went on

We watch it here. And we already knew about the mother/daughter roles. Makes things a little more realistic.

Watched another episode last night. In "Young Sheldon", I came to realize that young Sheldon's older brother also bares a striking resemblance to Sheldon's older brother in "The Big Bang Theory". Remember that episode when Sheldon went home to Texas to make up with his brother who owned the tire store?

I went to a home yesterday who is the daughter of a good customer of mine from 10 years ago who had died right after the last time I did work for her... when the daughter, who I had never met before, answered the door I was taken back... she looks exactly like her mother... I was so amazed I had to tell her this.

Did you all figure out that Meemaw is the secretary from the original Ghostbusters?

In one of the early Young Sheldon episodes they showed a young Penny Raj Leonard Howard and I believe Bernadette. I think it was bedtime and they were all shown briefly. I had hoped that we would see more of them.
