Last Saturday night Hannah shot a 98 lb. (field dressed) doe with her .243 No.1 RSI-A at a distance of approximately 80 yards. With the doe on Hannah's tobaggon it was a 1/2 mile drag out to the pickup. Once we got home, my 79 year old Father came over and we skinned and quartered her. Sunday he came back and with Hannah and myself helping, we deboned and trimmed the doe while my wife rinsed the meat. We finished off the morning with a delicious meatloaf and mashed potato lunch prepared by my wife. As usual, Hannah did well on the hunt and I am extremely proud of her.
