Crap. I didn't even know they made them for Red Hawks. This forum costs me so much freaking money its not even funny. 😄
I bought a set of hoagues from my redhawk and so far they're still in the package. I'm afraid when I put them on I would like them and they sure don't look near as pretty as the wood.

I usually won't even consider a gun purchase if the seller has one of those rubber contraptions on there. I bought a S&W 4516 once with one of those grips and quickly over-paid for an NOS S&W plastic original. Sure looks nice the way Ruger intended it.
