I love shooting this gun. I reload but I prefer shooting the 357 rather than the 38 for reasons only my dog knows.
I have two rigs. This is one but I'm having some work done on the other "that I prefer". It's slung low and great workmanship. Vaquero loves it too. Perfect match.
I was raised on iron sights on handguns. Always revolvers so that tells you how old I am. Nothing feels more like a gun than a single action, perfectly timed, handgun. Could have gone with the LC 45 but I don't reload for that and I've always been a 357 fan since the Dirty Harry movie. Ha.
Sorry....off track. Anyway I'm used to revolvers with grooved top to standing fixed front sights. I've know people that ground down the front to get the sight picture they want, but not me. Just shoot it and get it down. It's a revolver. It's feel and you can figure out the amount of front blade you need. Anyway. Love it and my new Mini 14 tactical SS in 223/556. I replaced the factory stock with the A Team wood and SS folding stock. BTW, that stock is solid as a rock. No rattle and it's well made. I've had a few folders and they all rattled some, this one is well designed from factory specs. I'll post a picture of it in a bit. I'm replacing the gas bushings to a .50 hoping it will stop the denting of the brass on ejection. I reload and not a fan of reloading dented brass. Here's my little friend.
