Handled a GP-100 .22 10-shooter today

And was surprised at how nice it felt! Expected it to feel like awkward, but it felt somewhat like my old 6" Blue GP .357--very decent balance. This one had the "old style" rubber grips with a wood insert, not the odd entirely rubber Hogue grips. I suspect putting 10 LRs in the cylinder makes it even less muzzle heavy.
 
I shot mine again yesterday. I saw two on shelves today, one in Dickson and another in Clarksville, TN. Both were priced around $700-725.

I like how mine feels and handles. I inherited my Dad's Colt Officer's Model with a 6" bbl in 22 and it is a similar size and weight to that gun.
