My lgs has a used Gunsite Scout in stainless steel with a 16" barrel. The Ruger website only lists stainless with a 18" barrel. Is the 16" version a special run or distributor exclusive?
IIRC the 'original' GSRs had the 16 1/2" and the later versions 18". Have seen a little chatter on the differences, don't seem to be all that much from what I can recall.
