Does anybody on the Forum make or know of someone that makes Gunfighter style (thinner than original) grips for the original Vaquero .45?

Bear paw does. I like them as they fit my hands better.

www.eaglegrips.com has been the main off-the-shelf purveyor of such for many years. Similar to the previous poster's suggestion, any of the fine gripmakers here could probably meet your needs, including Carl of www.privatescustomgrips.com and Cary Chapman (CaryC) www.clccustomgrips.com

I noticed in Gunblast.com 's review of the new Single-Ten that Ruger is putting smooth-wood laminate grips with a narrow "gunfighter" profile on these new guns.

I wonder if the website store will be selling these same grips anytime soon? They would fit your Vaquero just fine.

Just a thought,

Great husband and wife team to do business with. I have 3 sets of their grips and will get more!
