Got curious after reading a couple of these types of topics and looked up gun shows near me in the near future. It's been years since I went to a show (last was probably the once or twice a year they have a show at the Civic Center in my smallish town) and a really long time since I went to one in the city. I noticed there's one coming up weekend after next in the next "larger" city south (Denton) of me, only 25 minutes' drive.
I read the details and the advertisement says this: "Antique firearms, C&R firearms, some knives, and other collector’s items. No modern guns or modern ammo."
Wow! Maybe the world isn't ending. And Denton is mini-Austin when it comes to mindset considering the two universities. I might go. Anyone from the metro-mess wanna meet? I'd have to go Sunday morning because I work that Saturday.
