Gun show find -

Had a great time at the Casa Grande gun show Sat & Sun... For a small town event there was a lot of trading going on, and some very interesting stuff.

Never heard of these before, but this fellow (Private seller) had this M77RP sittin' there unfired in the box and I figured it needed a home! Picked up a NIB 2004 SS Bisley Hunter in .44 Magnum from the same seller. I'm a sucker for unfired in-the-box stuff! $475 a pop...

Ah well.. it's only money!

I'd be more wary of rifles that were "only fired once". More than a few ANIB .338 WMs have been so described.

I'd agree with that argument! lol I'm not a smithy, but this one looks unfired. The story I got was the stuff was being sold off from a shop who's owner had died. Seemed to fit considering the items they had for sale. At any rate, I'm told there aren't many of these around. If it turns out to be a klinker, I'll let my step-son shoot it. He eats recoil for breakfast! lol :?

They really aren't all that bad, but I did put a SIMS pad on my .338 WM. Pachmayer makes a pad as well.

.338WM on left, .30-06 on right. Also have a .300WM.
