grip question

Are the screw holes for the SR1911 common to all Colt spec government size grips? I want to put the Colt wrap around grips as found on the Gold Cup and Delta on my Ruger. Threads the same,etc. ?

As long as it says full size,Gov't, or Commander they'll fit.
Here's mine with Pachmayr wrap arounds.

Should work fine. Have not tried Colt med. wrap arounds or Colt Delta wrap arounds, but Pachs work fine. Actually, it might be fun to put the wrap arounds from my Delta Gold Cup on an SR1911 and take it to the range.

They're available on e-bay. I've bought a few. This one is moulded w/.501 disk to insert a Ruger 1/2" medallion. Also available with generic RC {radical concepts} logo. They make them for Colt. Exactly like my Gold Cup factory grip.
