When I change my Bisley gripframe to a Super Blackhawk Hunter grip frame , can I use the Bisley trigger and a standard Blackhawk hammer? Midway is out of Blackhawk triggers and no backorder. I usually change the frame, trigger and hammer. Not sure if the Bisley trigger will work in the grip frame with a standard hammer. I have just a few days for a Midway birthday order.

Stainless or blued?

The Bisley trigger will not fit without modification to the Hunter grip frame trigger slot. Otherwise, the Bisley trigger will work with the standard or Super Blackhawk hammer in a Hunter grip frame.

It is no big deal to open up the Super Blackhawk, Hunter, or XR3 trigger slot to clear the Bisley trigger...and shorten the Bisley trigger blade approximately by 1/16th of an inch. I prefer the Bisley trigger and use it in all my Super Blackhawk, Hunter, XR3, Single Six/Seven and BFR revolver projects.

The Bisley hammer will work in the Hunter grip frame, but the required modifications are not as simple.

If you rather not to modify, I have an extra stainless Blackhawk standard trigger for $15 delivered. If I hunt for it, maybe a blued one as well.

Thanks for the offer but I bought one from a member. Just waiting for my two top grip frame screws on backorder from Midway USA.
