GP100 value

I saw an ad for a stainless GP100 6" half lug that sold for $675.
Is that the going rate? If so color me happy!

That would be a good deal. The half lug 6" guns a pretty popular and typically fetch a premium price and being a stainless model normally adds a bit to the going price.

Cool! I recently picked one up from a LGS that is high priced for considerably less. Apparently they haven't been keeping up on prices!

I'm sure they had a reason to price it lower. $675 seems a little high to me, but not terrible. Around here, all of the GP's get pretty stout prices. You can basically buy new, or save $25-50 to get a used one. Sometimes prices are a little better, but not normally.

I haven't seen a half lug in a long time, and I could see them being high. Congratulations on the good price.

I paid $399 and thought it was a bit high at that. I wanted a GP and didn't even notice it was a half lug until I sprung it out of gun jail.

In the last few weeks, $500 around here for a mid-80's vintage example with box and paper work.
