Are there smaller grips than the rubber hogue grips that Ruger has been using for the last few years? Anyone like them or dislike them whether they are wood, rubber, or a combination of both.

Look around for the old rubber/wood grips that they used to put on 3" GPs. They are considerably more compact than the Hogues. I call them "round butt" grips, but I'm sure there is a more legitimate collector's name for them.

I personally love the older "Fixed Sight" grips and stocked up on them when they were discontinued. They are the perfect fit for me.

I just found the Pachmayr compact grips too online. Some claim their smaller too. Anyone ever try those?

If nothing works out I have some OEM small grips in the classifieds section. Robertson's was practically giving them away based on what you find (Or more correctly can NOT find) out there. I have been a Robertson's fan for many years but I think they might have had a disconnect here but good for them either way.
