GP100 front sight ?

I have my first GP100.

I push the plunger in on the front sight and I expected to be able to slide it out but it won't move.

I'm guessing a burr or something.

Am I doing something wrong?

When I first changed mine out it was stuck a bit too. The spring in there was stiffer than what I thought it would be. I just used a stiff plastic writing pin to push the sight pin in and wiggled the blade a little and it lifted right out on the 2nd try.
