GP 100 Red Dot Mount

I have a Weigand optics mount for my 357 that works fine but it is a weaver rail and I want a smaller footprint. I have had bad luck with my last purchase of a small base plate for a red dot mount on a MKIV pistol as it did not fit as promised. For my GP I am looking at:
1.Alchingunparts
2.EGW

I would appreciate any comments on these or any others I have not listed.

I can't say about this specific mount but EGW mount for another application worked fine.

Yes Sir...seems to provide the best balance for me when popping steel plates.

I like that Griffon Hill uses the cross pin. That's what I did with the mount I made several years ago. If they were around then I wouldn't have had to make my own.

The best solution would be to mill the topstrap to the desired profile and maintain Cowitness Irons. If it's just a Game Gun I suppose you might not need the sights so much. I personally try to keep things as normal as possible so muscle memory isn't corrupted for those bumps in the night when muscle memory is all you have.
