GP 100 holster ???

Is the GP 100 in Federal 327 with the 4+" bbl considered a large frame or medium frame revolver. Who might have a nice holster to fit? Will holsters for the current GP 100 in 357 fit?

It is a medium frame gun. If you are looking for leather holsters there are a myriad available for the gun. My favorite makes are Tauris and Kramer, but there are many other good makers available. Here a a couple of sites:

The GP-100 will not fit most K frame (medium) holsters. It is considered a large frame (smith L frame equivalent). Of course N frame or redhawk holsters are too big. I have used holsters for Pythons and Smith L frames like the 686 and found them to fit quite well.

Search for 'Trailmaster' on feebay and gunbroker. Earl Southard makes some real nice holsters for the GP100, Redhawk and Super Redhawk. Reasonably priced, and very well made. He'll make it the way you want it. He didn't have a web site, but will send pics of others he has built.

You can search on here as well, as I had posted some pics of mine back when I got it late last year. Another member posted pics of his originally, which is who got me in contact with him in the 1st place. My pics aren't much good, but here are my Trailmaster w/ GP100, and Simply Rugged w/ SP101.
