Crusing the shops today and came across a GP-100 stainless, 3" barrel, fixed sight, half lug. KGPF-330? Serial was 172-0xxxx. Also, above the trigger guard, forward on the frame, left side, etched "DSC Prescott, AZ". Common? Value? I'm not a GP fan, but it seemed "different".

I assume 357 and not 38 spl.? Not sure what the "DSC" stands for. I think they are worth picking up - short lug has been discontinued. Should have the short grips. I'd say $350 -$450 would be OK.

These are probably police trade-ins. Bought one of them from the guy in AZ last year and paid $375 shipped. Action was nothing to write home about but was tight revolver. Sold it after a couple of months and made $50.

The stamp is an import mark, these are all Candian Police trade-ins. I have a blue 3" GP that came in from Canada.

These go for $400 or so on GB, most are heavily holster buffed but 3" half lug GP's are in demand.
