Hi Folk's, I missed out on the Bisley .44 spl. Flattop. That's life, ended up with a production .44 spl. flattop thats scary accurate. I found a Taurus 85 in .327 for a song & got hooked on this round. I did'nt have too high of hopes of getting the Single Seven considering the limited numbers.I was excited to hear it was on it's way & the a little apprehensive after hearing all the complaints. When they pulled the 7.5" out of the box I could'nt have been more happy. I could barely see daylight between the barrel & cylinder. Nice finish, love the grips. Everything looks as it should. Couple tiny nicks on the front of the barrel-crown is good though-no big deal. Can't wait to shoot it! Hope this brings this cartridge back to life. Thank's Lipsey & Ruger!

Pictures and range reports don't seem be loading properly...

Congrats. Mine had some wobbles out of the gate but the major stuff was addressed and the minor stuff is well, just that, minor.

Thank you Azleite. Just so you know we still run the Bisley 44 Specials in 4-5/8" and 5-1/2". If you decide you would still like one just let me know. We usually get at least one or two shipments of them a month.

No problem. I plan on keeping them in the line up as we still sell every one we get. Keep in touch and we will get one your way when you are ready.

Range report. Hi Folk's, hope everyone had a good holiday. Finally found some time to get this little gem out to the range. Took along the little Taurus 85 in .327 as well. This was informal testing & I was kinda in a hurry as I wanted to squeeze in some motorcycle riding that day as well. I shot standing at 21' and was able to keep 14 rds. in about 5" (Not bad for me, LOL) Then I shot from a rest 14 factory rds. and 14 reloads that went into about a 1 1/2" ragged hole slightly right of POA. My reloads shot slightly tighter than the Federal stuff. This single seven is a dream, 100% reliable during testing-no issues-love it! I think it's interesting that my Hornady manual calls for small rifle primers with this round, hey-it works. The Taurus bummed me out, kept binding and light striking. But was real accurate when it fired-had my dealer send it back to Taurus. I know this wasn't much of a test but I was mainly checking for reliability plus I had a couple of rifles to shoot-Dave
