Got my first Ruger again in a while

It's been a while since I had a Ruger. My last one was my 50th Anniversary .44 Magnum. I had some money from a few other things and I wanted a long barreled .357 for hunting this year, and it was either this or a Smith Highway Patrolman. I came across some nice examples of each, but the Ruger was much cheaper and since it had been a while I snagged the Ruger, a nice example of an unaltered and all original Old Model. The action is silky smooth and the finish is very nice. It's been shot some, but not much.

Nice call for a hunting revolver. Now I love S&W 28s (and 27s, heck any N frame) but that big Blackhawk OM in .357 should be a pussycat to shoot.
