Good day at O.G.C.A.

After an early start and a 3 hour drive, arrived at the Ohio Gun Collector's show in Wilmington OH. Plenty to look at. The annual Display Show highlights members collections. Great displays of SKSs, Hi Powers, Detective Specials, MGs plus much more. While wiping up my drool, I spotted this in the 3rd row. Looked it over, walked away and went right back. The seller explained that he bought it 20 years ago, test fired it and put it away. The box never made it to the show but will be sent to me this week. Well, back to reality. Gotta be at work at 6AM on Monday.

8) I have one of those "buried" someplace. Without digging out the old records, i don't recall if it was an ACCUSPORT, or a BUCKEYE Distributor purchase......If I had to bet, I think it was BUCKEYE and it was a special run for them.......Like I have noted earlier, Ruger should have cataloged and continued to build this model. :wink:

Dave, you done good, there was a LOT of nice guns there, and the displays were indeed 'awesome', that is the show to get to.....glad the radical One and Mark R set up their Ruger displays, they did a fine job....
never did get a chance to get around and 'see" the 'tables, was by ourself, and was quite 'busy' besides was NOT looking to 'buy", passed on LOTS of nice old models,and only made two trades......sold a bunch of other stuff for 'others'...........

I let my membership expire after they moved down there because cleveland and king frank wouldn't let them use the IX center any more, you know evil guns and all ! Screw cleveland and king frank !
