Two of my sons' took 5 of the grandsons' fishing yesterday & the boys had a blast catching some nice German Browns & Rainbowns. The water was cold & clear & they caught & released quite a few, we seldom keep any unless somebody wants to eat one. Not a Utah fisherman in sight, yippee!! About 3 weeks ago I smoked 2 that were about 6 lbs each, nice and pink in the middle, tasted great, I might have shown them.

What? No Utah fishermen to wade in & scare the fish? None to tell you how to fish correctly? Not even one to tell how much better it is in Utah than there?
Gee,,, how did they have any fun?

Seriously,,, great pics & I know they all had a blast!

Hello Jim, thought you might like those photo's! Should have corrected me too, I meant to say Cutthroats, not German Browns, I had just finished a sleep study for a new Cpaps machine. Anyway, you have to release all Cutthroats that I know of in our area.

Cuts, Bows, Browns, and Brooks doesn't matter. All are GREAT fish and looks like the Kids had a wonderful time.
Like I stated a DREAM STREAM. At my age I don't want to be knocked down and roll down the stream. :D Been there done that.

Here's a new cooker you might like to grill those fish on...

It looks like it was built for a corporate venue - probably in the aircraft industry (Boeing or Pratt & Whitney would be my guess).
Note that it appears to be bolted down - probably so some Airbus aficionados couldn't make off with it to copy.

Looks like you guys had some great fishing. I hope that water was warm, but I doubt it. I used to do that as a kid myself, and just went in tennis shoes, but the water wasn't nearly that deep. One of those pictures, looked to me like one of the boys was pretty cold!!! I bet they had fun anyway.

BPJ, yes the water is cold & can be deep is some spots, that's why Shane is wet clear up to his arm pits. All of them wear tennis shoes because the bottom can be rocky & uneven in many places. Some of the streams are worse than others but all are cold!
