redfox: we don't have hummers here and other times I've tried to shoot 'em I had terrible results. I had the camera set up pretty fast here and of course hand held. By fast I mean iso 640, f2.8 which resulted in an image of 1/1250th sec. I didn't use a burst of images but did have the camera in servo mode. Thanks for looking. Dr.C
