Fondling Single actions

Yesterday I opened the safe and did a little reorganization!
Kinda nice taking them single action revolvers out and dusting them off
and admiring them! Spring is getting closer each day! Need snow shows
around here to do anything outdoors except Snowmobiling! Spring is coming!

Heck,,, when cooped up,, it's a great time to get them out, dust them off,, oil them, etc.

Of course some of us just shoot year round. On days that are moist or too cold or windy (maybe 20 a years) We just shoot indoors.

It has the additional advantage of keeping everything clean and oiled.

I am=about 7 books in now. As a retired Federal Wildlife Biologist who spent most of my career in the Channeled Scablands, I've met most of his characters: the "upwardly mobile" middle managers, arrogant upper management (One was busted for sexual assault of an employee), meddling congressmen (DEMS and GOP!), poachers, the "shoot, shovel, and shut-up" crowd, rabid environmentalists (in and out of Federal service) and greedy developers.

Also as a hunter who has hunted elk and mule deer in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Washington

My greatest compliment is, "He knows whereof he speaks"!

What no skating?? Love to get out on a pond take the ice drill out plow an area
then flood it, a trash pump does a great job.
