"People are dying because they do not understand..."

Here is a list of the top 10 leading causes of death in the U.S (2016):

What about the people who are dying because of a poor understanding of diet and exercise and nutrition and alcohol and drug use, which certainly has a bearing on heart disease (#1 killer)? (An interesting read, dated from 2013 however...)

What about the people who are dying because of accidental death?

Why are some attempting to preference gun deaths over other causes of death which, in absolute numbers, are more devastating to the population?

Why?

:D I see you have been watching too much TV. :D

The incessant garbage from the Dem'z has warped your mind.
YES, it would be nice to have everyone with appropriate knowledge.
YES, it would be nice to have them with skills.
YES, it would be very nice to have them think.

But it is important to have them able to clean out their end of the gene
pool, when it has become too clogged with sludge. The reason is simple,
"if it saves even one life" is nice, but to have the action provide a MAJOR
restriction to EVERYONE else's rights is unacceptable.

There can be permitted no government condition on any RIGHT. When the first condition, no matter how slight, is placed on any RIGHT, it no longer becomes a RIGHT. It then becomes a privilege that almost certainly will be amplified, more restricted, and finally prohibited piece by piece.

It's frustrating that it's so hard for certain people to understand this.

True. And that goes back to Medieval times if not farther, when all privileges were at the Kings ( or Nottingham Sheriffs ) discretion, and there were no rights. I sure don't want to go back to that form of Government.

I understand y'all's philosophical arguments... but the real problem is there are a lot of people out there now and in this country there are a lot of guns... I still think mandatory training is the best answer.. starting in grade school. It is much better than the anti gunner's alternative......
