I HOPE this is the last time I see that place. It may not be as there is an "internal stitch(or some foreign object)"protruding from the incision that's going to require digging to resolve.
I've got to say, this has been one of the top ten worst choices I've made in my life and absolutely, without a doubt THE WORST health decision I've EVER made. I go to bed in pain, wake up in the middle of the night in pain, get up in the morning in pain---worse by 2 or 3 X than before the surgery.
Given what I've learned over the past 6 weeks, I'd have to be dragging my leg(s) behind me on a cart before I'd see this procedure as an improvement.
The suggestions of improvement certainly don't apply to anyone who lives in a world of stairs, ladders, farm equipment, or anything except concrete or paved surfaces. I firmly believe that I was given false expectations of the improvements I should expect and the time frame of getting back into my "normal activities".
I've got work to do and it appears I'm going to have to drag a Grandkid along to be remotely able to return to the work on my assignment list.
My advice: think long and hard and ask a LOT of questions specific to your individual lifestyle before making this decision. I thought I had covered all the bases but apparently even personal friends (who have different lifestyles) weren't able to give me the answers I needed.
