Single-Sixer
Just picked up a GP-100 that I have had an eye out for some time – a three-inch barreled, fixed sighted model. Found it new at a Gun Show on Saturday, October 15. Is fresh out of the factory, with the “fired cartridge” date being just two weeks earlier – September 29.
Has the Hogue grips, which are much too large for this gun for my taste.
Quickly replaced them with an older pair of the “proper” style.
The trigger pulls, both single and double action, are nice – smooth, not gritty. And not overly heavy at 4 1/2 and 10 pounds, respectively.
All the markings are laser cut, not stamped. And the “billboard” is less wordy than on previous models I have seen. Has the Newport NH location, and the eagle with only an “R” in it.
First trip to the range showed that with 158 grainers POI = POA.
