This last weekend I was shooting my 1022TD at a run'n'gun rimfire event and wanted to use my Butlercreek 25 rnd mags....
but every other shot jammed the bolt back... really screwed up my time on one stage.
So then I had one of the other competitors offer me the use of one of his Ruger BX25 mags with his CCI ammo already loaded...
It wasn't any better! The CCI ammo was regular round nose rather than the hollow point Remington Golden Bullets I normally run flawlessly with my 10 rnd Ruger mags.
I finished the remaining stages with 10 rnd Ruger mags and Rem Gold hollow points and had not a single problem... other than running and changing mags more than anyone else
Has anyone had any luck with the BX25 Ruger mags in their 1022TD?
Not sure I want to buy them...
I know the Butlercreek mags are going to be give away prizes at the next club event...!
