Ever Seen a Coyote this color?

Coyotes come in shades of brown, grey, and black blended with white. I think there are 4 different types of coyotes in the US and Mexico, with some subspecies under each type. The color isn't anything particularly unique IMO.
However - That doesn't look mangy enough for a coyote to me, although your local coyotes could be better fed than our desert coyotes are. Could it be a Mississippi Valley red wolf? All our coyotes look like they just escaped a nazi concentration camp.

We have killed several black yotes during Deer season over the years.

Hi,
Haven't seen more than a couple, but there are some almost black ones around here. I'd call 'em coyotes, while a friend who used to run her dog out in the hills swore they were probably coydogs. She doesn't hunt herself, but she'd make a good guide! She sees more animals than most anyone I know. I dunno much about coydogs... but I've seen "regular" coyotes from barely darker than a dirty blond to that almost black in my neighborhood. They eat a little better than Pete's, but still tend toward the rangy and mangy most years.

This is a HUGE mistake IMHO. Foxes and bobcats will take care of the rodents w/o destroying the deer population.
Coyotes are a 24/7/365 shoot on sight varmint.

My wife puts corn out for the deer and we get a bunch of animals including fox, possums, crows and coons that make their rounds in our backyard every night.
Yes, I have. I have seen them from nearly albino white, to tan, to yellow, brown, reddish brown to dark gray. Most common however is generally the light gray with dark gray highlights.
I'm by no means an expert but it looks like either a wolf or dog to me....

Saw two in the backyard yesterday morning.. normal size and color.
Some of my friends have said they have seen wolves over this way... think maybe they were leftovers when the Smoky Park tried to reintroduce them, I haven't seen any.
