What would two stainless "new Vaqs" 45 colt cal.,5 1/2 inch barrels, full factory engraved, faux ivory gunfighter style grips with "black chickens"medallions, consecutive serial numbers, walnut Ruger display case with velvet lining be worth? Been fired just a few rounds, maybe a box of ammo each. Also have all of the boxes, papers ect. Just like to know what they would sell for if I decide to sell them. I have not seen any around the shops or shows to see a price. Thanks

The fact that they've been fired/cycled many times and now probably exhibit a "cylinder ring" would, IMHO, severely detract from the collectibility.

High Quality images would certainly help assigning a value.

I like engraved vaqueros. I would shoot them. seems like somebody would pay money for them.

Yes, I'd probably shoot them also. There's probably a few hundred engraved New Vaquero's out there. But the suppy and demand thing warrants very little demand today for such an animal.
Some day that may change though
Chet15 (thinking of the '56-'58 era Engraved Single-Sixes that sold for $150.50 new and now bring $7,500 and up).
