Ebay login stolen

Today I received a notice that I needed to complete a listing. The problem is I never started a listing and have not sold anything in many years on Ebay. I changed my password!

That might've been a phishing email, I hope you didn't use the link in that email, if there was one.
I've been on eBay for over 25 years, never sold a single thing but I've bought tons of stuff. I've never been prompted by their system to change my password or list anything for sale.

Nope my actual Ebay account showed an uncompleted listing, and I changed my password ON Ebay not a followed link.

I'm a retired computer professional and know better than to open unsolicited Emails but your reply may help others, thanks.
