I know there are lots of posts on this, but nothing very concrete --
Has anyone drifted the front sights on an SR40 or similar? I'm wondering where I can get a cheap nylon dowel and just how hard I have to pound. I'd like to replace with the HiViz fiber optic and I just don't want to pay a smith more than the sight is worth. Also, do the sights come out left to right when looking down the barrel as if shooting? THANKS in advance.
