Closer to the truth than not and maybe it'll save some relationships. She has a nice "touch" with it. :) I think it's true that what women regard as affectionate touching is different than what men do. I like how she doesn't try to set people against each other.
Men and women are also different in terms of their conversational styles.
Men are like:
"Man, did You see that?"
"Yeah. Whoa."

"Her mother told me about that six months ago and I was talking to her sister's brother's girlfriend - she's no prize herself recently, but she told me about the problems with their [thingamabob]."
"That's just the start of it, for years I've been worried about poor Julia and I think she's a terrible match for Ray, but every time I see her I wonder whether she's getting through to him and besides that, I went to her baby shower three weeks ago and it didn't look good to me, she looked EXHAUSTED and I wonder how long THAT'S going to last." :roll: :roll:
There's no escaping this disparity in communication styles, so everyone needs to learn to deal, for the benefit of humanity in general.
