the other night my dog Jelly was trying to play rough with Rainy. Jelly is 10 months old and Rainy is 7 1/2 years old and she doesn’t want to rough house as much.

Well Jelly has claimed a particular spot on our sofa as his. So when he wasn’t looking, Rainy jumped up onto “his” spot. It just so funny, because you can see them thinking and plotting their next move.

But man, Jelly saw Rainy in his spot on the sofa and really got worked up.

Here is Jelly on the sofa. I know he looks sad, but it was late at night, and he was just tired. We walk him a lot. My wife's joke is to "walk the bark out of him." :)

Here they both are playing.

Nice looking hounds for sure. The B&W is a border collie? All or most. The other one is????
Thanks, they are both Australian Shepherds. Rainy is the black one. A Tri-Color Black, version. and Jelly is the white and grey. That model is called the Blue Merle.

I know they aren’t cars. I just can’t think of the correct terminology right now. 🐶

And I don’t know what going on with their eyes. Rainy’s eyes are wide open for sure.

The other night my wife and I were playing a game called Quidditch. A card game spelling words. The new hound started barking and howling and the other two soon joined in. Checked the outside, nothing. Sat back down to play and it starts again.
Then one would bark and the others would run to the bed in front of the TV. Ok OK its time to watch TV. Went to the couch, all the dogs went to their places and started watching Castle. All was well.

One of my vices is dogs.... got jumped on by 3 different ones at 3 customers houses.... and I mean jumped on in a good way.... when ever I go to a customers house and their dog wants to sniff and rub up against me it is a good day. I'm so bad I'll sit down on the hearth of the fireplace and let the dog lick me in the face. Of corse when I get home and our little foxhound Tally Ho greats me at the door she does some serious sniffing to see who I've been cheating with.

Here's a picture of Tally Ho 2 years ago when we first got her... she was 5 & 1/2 years old and thought she was a cat and would jump up on the kitchen counter.

I'll have to delete this thread. The top picture might give my hound some ideas.

My mom used to say "Dog is God spelled backwards" somehow she related that to her love for the animals which escaped me :-)

But "the dog is man's best friend" she also said which I completely agree with.

Those are nice dogs for sure. They are super lucky to have owners who gives them attention and walks them like you do. It makes me feel bad to think of all the dogs in this world who have to make do with the opposite care.

@jav I have no idea what she is. She is a rescue my daughter found 7 years ago and brought home and put in the pen outside. I said, we do not need another dog.
By the time my daughter got home, the dog had been named, had a collar and a bowl and was pretty much doing whatever she wanted. lol
She is definitely my dog, she hates it when I am not home and follows me everywhere.
