Whenever I go shoot, I got to where anymore I will only take either the same caliber guns, or guns that will take the same cleaning patches and brushes when I get home to clean them, for example, when I take 9mm I will sometimes take .357 too, as they will take the same patches, brushes, jags. When I take .45, I will take .45 acp and .45 Colt. When I take my .44s, I will take my handguns and rifle in the same caliber. About the only time I make an exception to this is I will sometimes take a .22 along, but I usually don't clean them as thoroughly, often just running a bore snake through them and Q tipping what I can get to. Is this being lazy? Or practical? Or anal?
