The ammo companies have been telling us that they are making .22LR at their usual rate of a bazzillion rounds per day........They told us that the "shortage" is due to hoarders... Well, NOW THAT THE PRICE HAS MORE THAN DOUBLED, the "shortage" is miraculously over. I was at Cabela's in Hartford, Ct two days ago and the shelves were literally overflowing with all brands of .22LR. Of course the price is now $37 - $40+ per brick of 500 and more for the smaller 'bricks' or boxes of 100. Does ANYONE believe the ammo companies, or even our illustrious gun scribes, who have sworn to us for the past several years that the ammo production has not been slowed/stopped to create the shortage..............???? (If so, I have a presidential candidate for you to vote for.)
