Or "Why you shouldn't let morons drive musclecars."

Somebody's guardian angel was putting in a lot of overtime.

was there suppose to be a video? read through the article but it was just one guys opinion.

from your comment, I was expecting a video of a new mustang going 180 spin after pulling out of parking lot

I used to see that kind of driving every day when I was working, and out on the road. I have actually seen a guy run a family in a U-Haul moving truck off of I-95 because he thought the driver cut him off getting on the interstate and another guy pass someone on the single lane I-95 off-ramp and flip his car because he got onto the grass. Stuff is amazing.

I have run the "North Course" at Pocono more than a few times and have only seen ONE idiot in all that time. This 'person' was cutting in and out of traffic, cutting off people in the corners and generally being a danger to all...including himself. Finally the corner workers got him off the track...permanently. Somehow there always seems to be one person that screws up an otherwise great day. I won't even talk about some of the things I have seen at Atco and Capital Dragways.

Hi,

Muscle cars have brought out the idjits since their inception in the '60s, regardless of maker. Yet from the days of the Roadrunner until today's Hellcat, how is it that Mopar seems to have managed to corner the market on these fools? Yeah, I see enough Camaro and Mustang drivers every week who should be permanently welded to a bench, but for each one of them, there are several driving those "Imported from Detroit" models... what's the attraction?

There's no lack of idiots on the road. I got my fill of them driving charter buses. A guy passed me on I5 once playing the flute at 75mph. Steering with his knees, sheet music on the steering wheel. One dark and rainy night I had 57 sleeping passengers aboard on highway 405 in WA just taking the second exit when someone came backing out of the exit ramp. Apparently they didn't want that exit. That was a close one. Then there are the 'frisky ones' who apparently don't realize that bus and truck drivers can see down in their cars. You'd think they'd wait until they got home. Sure a lot of drivers out there paying no attention to driving. It was plenty bad before cell phones but now I'm glad I'm fully retired.

A guy I know built the Porsche 550 Spyder replicas. He built a lightweight one with a 6 cyl Porsche motor in it - about 1100 lbs with 300 hp. A real handful. He sold it to a Japanese guy who had it flown to Japan - didn't even make it out of the airport. He got it sideways grabbing second and hit a building.

I use to know a guy that drove a Dr Pepper delivery truck; He said you'd be surprised how many times when on the freeways in Los Angeles you could look down into a car in the next lane and there was ALL KINDS of "activity" going on in either the Front seat (bench seats) or the back seat; Said he use to HONK , until somebody complained and the company told him to stop !!

In 1969 and 70 I rented office space from Shelby enterprises in the Westgate Center in Playa Del Rey....Shelby's business manager was a friend and one day when I pulled into the parking garage under the building there was a flat bed with a big "lump" on it with tarps covering it all up...Jerry was just going upstairs and I asked what that was...he said "want to see what a Shelby looks like when it hits the center divider on the Santa Monica freeway at 150 mph?"...nope..didn't want to see that..guess all that was left that was recognizable was a little bit of the fastback.
