I decided a bit ago to attempt to reopen my leather shop. Seems my penchant for buying guns lately has motivated me. I have a friend in town, that is a purty darn good chainsaw carver. He sells his stuff from a small kiosk he built to tow behind his ATV... He's been raking it in!!.... We worked out a deal where he will ship and receive for me in exchange for using my P.O. box to do the same with his product...
So I've been developing products to sell that have a purpose, and a bit unique...
It's going to be mostly pouches, small bags, packs, (mountainman stuff) and drinkware.... plus weird little things like cigarette lighter key chains, bracelets. I can only deliver to town every two months during the warm months, but it's a start...
I've been working on griz paw designs for my whisky glass coozies (holsters), and a version for beer glasses.. it's actually more of a stein.... Here are some of the prototypes.... (the cap gun rig is something I've had for a long time... no need to change that). I'm not sure about the griz paw.. I'm gonna sketch out a few more versions, and I'm working on a simplified mountain landscape with tree's and critters, and tree's and such...
Patterning is the rough part for me.. I'm chewin up my leather supply pretty quickly. I need to see it in my hands before I can "fix", the mistakes I made in the design. Hopefully it will pay off...
There are guns out there that need a good home!!
