We went to the new Pan Asia restaurant. Big servings. At the end of the meal we had to ask for a left over box as we were concerned about asking for a doggie bag.

I get the joke but it occurs to me that I haven't asked for a doggie bag in decades. I ask for a box.

I took my wife out for lunch yesterday. This guy sits behind her luckily so she didn’t have to look at his crack during her meal.
We asked for take out boxes. I haven’t heard doggie bags in a long time.

Most places I go they ask me upfront if I want a takeout container. I don’t even have to ask.

My wife and I have a standing dinner date on Thursdays. Started just shortly after my eldest was born. Over the years the restaurant has changed (mostly because they have gone under). When the kids were little it was the one time a week we could eat and have adult time.
Every now and then I would surprise her with room service. Although dinner wasn't the highlight of the night.
Parents need us time.
