Different size Grip Frames

Hey Guys,
This was asked about in another post. I thought I would do one for just the grip frame sizes.
It might keep some of you out of trouble when switching frames around. Let me tell ya all the ones that I have switched fit good when matched up to the correct era gun frame.

I would do it, but I only have a couple of New Models and they are only the pre-Bisley type.

Hey Guys,

Some of you my not know that there are two sizes of NM grip frames. I don't know what year they changed.
Here are some dimensions from the mounting base to the top of the ears.
1.072 Dragoon NM
1.072 XR3-RED
1.072 Steel Old Army
1.110 New Model XRN-3RED 10. I think the taller ones started with #8 casting.
