Different recoil spring for LC9?

I bought my wife a Ruger LC9 in raspberry color. She can not pull the slide back. Wish now I had bought a revolver for her. Is there any way to put a different spring in it to make easier for her to pull the slide back? I looked on Wolf Springs. They do not have any thing listed for the LC9. If it can't be fixed, I will get a can of Krylon black and spray it. And I will carry it. Thanks, Geary

I believe the LC380 uses lighter springs but can only shoot 380's. You might be able to exchange parts. I think I saw something about that on Guns and Ammo TV a while back. Might be just the springs and the magazine. :D
