i have a service six, i am doing a complete disasembly. i went on you tube and i have a question. on my cylinder crane there are 2 little bearings at the end that the cylinder pops over and catches slightly. every video on you tube the people remove the cylinder so easy, on some the cylinder just drops off the crane. my didn't and won't do that. it fit snug but turns freely when put back together. are there different cranes? or is mine right or wrong? thanks

Yours is fine, I collect the Six series and have some that are easy to remove the cylinder and some are a lot harder. I haven't had one yet that didn't come off and haven't had any that just fell off. The short answer is that all the cranes should be the same, give or take manufacturing tolerances.

If the cylinder just drops off the crane, that is too loose and means that it may "wobble" around and in doing that it is extra wear on all of the bearing surfaces (not good, but you probably won't notice any difference in your lifetime unless you shoot it a whole lot).

mine is tight so i'm happy, the one guy on you tube might check his as it just slipped right on and off. thanks
