Difference in Hoppes 9 and semi-auto version?

Was needing some new gun cleaner and was told to try Hoppes #9. Long story short I grabbed a bottle of Hoppes #9 "semi-Auto". Is it any different or just a marketing name?

I would too but my girlfriend doesn't like it. If I find one who does, I may trade up (or down, I don't care).

I don't know if it's a different product but I know they make Hoppes #9 Blackpowder which is different. IMHO, they should have named it Hoppes #10 or #11 or something else.

Give it a fancy name and charge more for it.
Sort of like Hornady did with their cartridges. They painted the tips green
and labeled them "Zombie ammo" and sat back and laughed. :mrgreen:
