It is not true that your heart stops when you sneeze but it is true that about 30% of the population will sneeze when looking at a bright light (I am part of that 30%). As I have aged, I now have to blow my nose to stop sneezing.

I put a rib back in place once with a sneeze. I had fallen out of a truck bed with a chunk of wood under my arm. All my weight landed on my side.

Haven't done that, but I've had cracked ribs three times in my life, and all three times, immediately after, I got a cold. Every cough, every sneeze was pure torture.

The Lovely Mrs. Snake has a supersonic sneeze. I am not kidding. When she sneezes, it sounds EXACTLY like firing a high-speed .22LR round out of a 16" barrel (something I've done many times). I've never heard anyone else sneeze like that.

If the light is right, does it produce a "muzzle blast"? One of the boys should have been drafted as the poster boy for "cover up when you sneeze" ads. With good back lighting, the "spray pattern" is undeniable.

That happened to me back in 2000. The moment it happened I knew it. I had to go through surgery to fix the hernia.

My dad sneezed the day after triple bypass heart surgery. He said he expected to see body organs lying on the floor when he opened his eyes. He laughed about it years later but it was no laughing matter at the time.

I have problems with allergies so I sneeze quite often. These days though I have to ask, is t the pollen, dust, whatever or that corona virus. Unless I get a fever and otherwise feel lousy, I',m gonna have a hard time telling which is which.Sometimes the sneezes are literally one after the other, rapid fire. Record so far is five in about 10, maybe 15 seconds. feels great after it stops.

Dunno, have never seen her do it. My first notice is when the supersonic crack hits my ears. Followed by me saying many bad words, and asking her AGAIN to PLEASE cover her mouth and nose when she's gonna do it. We've been through this MANY times over the years. :?
