Sold a toy, now I get to buy a toy! I'm going to buy the blued 4 5/8" Single Six convertible, but....I have to have these grips!

Ajax is out of business, and although I can find several different faux ivory sets, none have the Texas star medallion. Help!

Pretty sure my local gun store has a pair sitting in the display case with a ridiculous price (like $100) on them.

send me their number please

if there's any way to replace the medallion, i'd also be interested in exploring that...if its possible

Check out Tombstone Grips, they have a website.

He'll make those grips in any color, you can pick from a medallion he has in stock or send a pair of your own and he'll set them in there. Prices are about $50 a pair.

I thought there was a post not long ago about Ajax being back in business with new ownership...

*edit* Yep, here ya go. http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=68866&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=ajax+grips&start=0
And here's the link to the new website from 2RCO, the new owner.

Althought it looks as though they don't have the Star medallion on any of the models shown. I'd give them a shout to see if they can accommodate you.

There was a seller on eBay, made a point of having Texas stars on his grips. He may likely still be there. Seems like most of his grips were in the $60-65 range.

I have bought several of Tombstones grips and well satisfied. The ones I bought were for the XR-3 and look like Rugers new style and you have to dill the pin hole and finish fit them no big deal. They were about $25
