Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday

Hi,

We need to wake some people up. How about this one for starters: Jan 1, 2023, the US is going to ZULU time and all measurement and tooling will be metric. Is two months long enough to learn to count to 10? ;)

Rick C
People have said that we are changing to the metric system for well over 50 years that I know of. Craftsmen have learned to use both systems. It’s no big deal.

Our son lives in Calgary and explains temperature conversions this way. 0degrees C is freezing, 10degrees C is cool, 20degrees C is pleasant, 30degrees C is pretty warm, and 40degreess C is danged HOT!

F-32=Cx1.8, enter the one you know solve for the other.

To prove the formula enter the freezing point in both scales. Both will equal 180.

212-32=180=100x1.8

Well here I sit reading the mail and looking at the Forum and it is 06:18 as I type. My body wakes up at the same time each morning no matter what the clock says. Normally, being retired, I am up at 07:00 most days. Grab a cup of coffee, start my neubulizer treatment, read the mail and look at the Forum. This morning wasn't too different ... except the clock said 06:00 when I arose. My body is telling me the clock is wrong.

It is really stupid... if whom ever needs the extra hour of sunlight in the afternoon just adjust your own time to start an hour earlier.... as for making DLT permanent that is just stupid... we are 5 hours behind Grinch Mean time with Eastern Standard time and that is how it should be all the dern time... much easier to do celestial navigation if nothing els... I even remember on early GPS's you had to enter this in.

Actually, it’s Greenwich Mean Time.

Now, let‘s get back to more bickering! :ROFLMAO:
